Bae Woong is the Co-founder and CEO of Soombit.ai. He is dedicated to innovating the global radiology workflow through the application of advanced AI technology. Previously, he served as the Chief Healthcare Officer at KakaoBrain, where he led AI-driven drug discovery projects and developed AI models for medical imaging using generative AI.

Additionally, at the medical AI startup VUNO, he worked as a Senior AI Researcher, contributing to the development and commercialization of various medical imaging AI software. As the R&D Managing Director at VUNO, he also led the application of AI to biosignal analysis, including projects like DeepCARS and DeepECG.,

Currently, at Soombit.ai, he is focused on commercializing AI software that generates preliminary radiology reports for chest X-ray images, with plans to expand to various other modalities and radiology services in the future.

Saehoon Kim is a co-founder and CTO of Soombit.ai, where he focuses on advancing AI-driven solutions for radiology. Previously, he led the development and deployment of Karlo, an image generative model at Kakao Brain, and headed the machine learning team at AITRICS.,

Sam holds a Ph.D. and a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from POSTECH, with additional research experience from internships at Microsoft Research Asia and Microsoft Research.

His current research centers on developing preliminary chest X-ray reporting systems to support radiologists.
